Our Mission is to “feed the hungry in Wilkes County.”

We are a faith based program that works with everyone regardless of religious status. On average, we assist nearly 100 families each week with just one of our free food programs and over 600 children through our BackPack Program.

If you would care to contribute to Samaritan Kitchen of Wilkes, Inc., you may now do so through PayPal. We do not have a button to press yet, but our PayPal email address is: feedthehungry@scmofwilkes.org. For tax purposes, we will send a receipt at the end of each year showing your total donations for the year. Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser

Flamingo Flocking will be available to anyone that has a friend (or foe) that deserves to be "flocked." Citizens of Wilkes County are eligible to order a flocking and also to be flocked. The Flamingos will roost in someone's lawn for a day where they will then migrate to the next victim's yard at no charge to you. Please, do not harm these Pink little darlings.

Project Joy


2011 Project Joy was a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers that had a hand in making this possible. Many of you collected food, while others met and helped pack the boxes. Some of you raised funds and others drove school routes. Whatever your part was, we thank you! We all have so much to be thankful for. As the New Year starts we ask that you continue to remember your fellow neighboros that are in need and pray that 2012 will be a better year for them. We take this time to say thank you to all of our generous donors and wonderful friends who care about "feeding the Hungry in Wilkes" and also makes it possible that we continue to serve Wilkes County in the coming years.
